CHILDREN OF THE INFINITE PLANES, planetouched are where mortality meets eternity. They are creatures that have some power of a certain plane in their blood.
Darklings are beings with a bit of the Shadowfell in them, creatures of stark black and white, with an outlook focused on darkness, death, and undeath.
Farspawn are unfortunate souls twisted with remnants of the Far Plane. Often insane and mutant, they cling to the mortal world with a desperate grasp.
Foundlings are the cast-offs of the Feywild. They are emotional and untamed, prone to extremism and with the traits of animals, plants, or the fey.
All the planetouched people share this supernatural heritage, possibly from ancestors who were once humanoids from these lands, or from generations of otherwise normal humans who have adapted to their home plane, or from freak planar energies that infuse a child in the womb. They are half way between the human realm and the next, creatures of dual heritage, who must master the flesh and the faith that it is tied to.
